I was walking home from Dr. Sanchez's poetry class when a lady bug flew into my ear.
Once I got home, I felt compelled to jot down a few lines about such a mundane experience,
and I have always remembered it.

Little red bug in my head
I cannot hear
My thoughts are unclear
Heart cannot beat
I'm unsteady on my feet
Ladybug in my head
Leave my mind unread
And take me instead
